PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance reliability of locking while dispensing with a key of a latch device. SOLUTION: This latch device has a latch lever 10 for controlling lifting by the rotational movement of an operation pin 9 equipped on an inner end surface of a rotary lever in a locking hole 11 arranged in a holder by engaging an inner end part of an operation shaft with the rotary lever 6 by fitting the operation shaft 3 for penetrating an operation lock shaft 13 in the holder 1. The latch lever is projected outside the holder by sliding of the operation shaft, rotation of the rotary lever by the rotation and energization of a locking energizing spring 12 attached to the latch lever, and is put in a locking state. A projection 16 equipped on the outer periphery of the operation shaft is fitted to a guide groove 15 arranged on an inner peripheral surface of a bearing member 8 of the operation shaft, to control the sliding and the rotation of the operation shaft. Operation return springs 22 and 23 are arranged between the inner end part of the bearing member and the rotary lever and on the operation lock shaft. A pin 21 projected to the operation lock shaft is fitted to a guide groove 20 arranged on the operation shaft. A lock can be unlocked by pushing-in and rotation of an unlocking operation groove 14 equipped on the outer end of the operation lock shaft. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
