The one-piece carrying case (10) of pressboard or plastic to hold one or more bottles has two erectable and foldable parts (14,16) which are axially symmetrical to each other on a symmetry axis (18) and each provided with a folding or bending edge (19) to form a bottom (21), and have one or more horizontally or vertically extending compartments (20,22,24) which in the collapsed state have the outer contour of a bottle. The folding or bending edges are spaced apart to correspond to the diameter of the bottle, and a handle half is formed on each of the opposite facing outer edges (25,27) of the parts (14,16) of the case.
