The device comprises a flexible structural unit (20.1) formed in three sections with the centre section (23) of corrugated piping (21,22) producing the flexibility whilst the two end sections (28) are rigid and function as pipe connectors with one connecting with the branch pipe and the other with the pipe end of the house pipe. The centre section can be a double corrugated piping of two different materials with an inner metal pipe serving to carry the supply medium and an outer plastics pipe serving as protection.
