A clamp device (1) capable of easily and securely fixing an object to be clamped to a base part, allowing the reduction of production cost by its simplified structure, and capable of fixing the object to be clamped to the base part by its engagement with the inner peripheral wall part or side wall part of the hole part of the object to be clamped, comprising a rod support part (5) rotatably supporting a clamp rod (3) on a clamp body (2) so as to be selectively switched between a clamp position and a clamp release position by moving the engagement part (25) of the clamp rod (3) in a direction generally orthogonal to the longitudinal direction of the clamp rod (3), a piston drive mechanism (6) drivingly moving a piston member (4) between a clamp operation position and a clamp operation release position, and a cam mechanism (7) driving the engagement part (25) of the clamp rod (3) in a clamp direction (generally rightward) by the drive force of the piston drive mechanism (6) driving the piston member (4) in the clamp operation position.
