<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To add an advertisement when a main content stored in a content medium is reproduced, to provide a timely advertisement to a user, so as to improve a value as an advertisement medium of the content medium, to set an advertising rate to be high and to reduce a selling rate or a rental rate of the content medium. <P>SOLUTION: A player part reads an insertion condition, temporarily stops reproduction of the main content when the insertion condition is satisfied, and requests a distribution program from a distribution program managing server part so as to acquire it. An insertion content address is read from the distribution program and an insertion content is acquired from the insertion content distribution part that the insertion content address designates so as to reproduce it.
