PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a discharge device for performing streamer discharge while controlling a total discharge current from discharge sections at a substantially constant level which can perform a stable streamer discharge by preventing problems, such as concentration of current to one discharge section which inhibits a streamer discharge from other discharge sections or occurrence of sparks.

SOLUTION: A plurality of discharge sections (50) are divided into a plurality of discharge blocks (50a and 50b) and each of the discharge blocks (50a and 50b) is provided with corresponding current control sections (51a and 51b). Each current control section (51a or 51b) controls each discharge block (50a or 50b) so that the total discharge current is controlled at a substantially constant level.
