DETERMINATION SYSTEM AND METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a determination system and method for determining if active radio tags are moving together.

SOLUTION: The determination system includes a period acquisition part 10 for acquiring periods sent by the radio tags detected by a radio tag reader; an entry time anticipating part 20 for anticipating using the periods the entry time when each radio tag entered the detection range of the radio tag reader; an exit time anticipating part 30 for anticipating using the periods the exit time when each radio tag went out of the detection range of the radio tag reader; an overlap detection part 40 for detecting a plurality of radio tags whose entry times or exit times overlap; and a grouping determining part 50 for determining whether or not the plurality of radio tags detected by the overlap detection part 40 are moving together.
