PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form multiple beams by the number of transmission antennas while deterioration of transmission quality due to propagation environment estimation error is reduced and to facilitate control for forming the multiple beams. SOLUTION: A weight determination device 370 sets signals outputted from switching devices 351 to 35n to be input signals, estimates a transfer coefficient matrix of a wide frequency band from the input signal and decides weight of a multiple beam forming device by using the estimated transfer coefficient matrix. A reception device decides weight with which a reference value of prescribed transmission quality is set to be maximum. Propagation environments of the narrow frequency bands are estimated and weight is decided from the transfer coefficient matrixes. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
