PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To decrease measuring time by considering a combination of a single section of each section of ATT and a process for determining correction values. SOLUTION: ATT1 has four or more sections and includes a first maximum attenuation section 1d which provides a maximum amount of attenuation, a second maximum attenuation section 1e which is place on one side of the first maximum attenuation section and provides the same amount of attenuation as the first maximum attenuation section, two or more attenuation sections 1a, 1b, 1c which are adjacently connected to the other side of the first maximum attenuation section and provides amounts of attenuation which differ from each other, wherein the sum of those amounts of attenuation of two or more attenuation sections are smaller than the maximum amount of attenuation by minimum resolution. A combination storage section 7 is provided which stores a combination providing a desired amount of attenuation by successively using a combination of the first and second maximum attenuation in combinations in which the ATT1 decreases from the combination of the maximum amounts of attenuation by a combination of each section.
