PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce gas release noise of compressed gas performed at a time of unload operation and to prevent harmful effect on each appliance due to gas release heat. SOLUTION: An inside of a package 10 provided with a flow in opening 15 and a discharging opening 16 of cooling air is partitioned by a partition plate 13 having a communication opening 14, and a muffler chamber 10b defined by the partition plate 13 and an inner wall surface of the package 10 and storing a muffler 43 of an engine 40 is formed. A gas release pipe 80 communicating to a delivery opening 29 of a compressor main body 20 and opened and closed by a gas release valve 82 is provided. The gas release pipe 80 is extended in the muffler chamber 10b and opens via a silencer 81, the gas release valve 82 is opened at a time of unload operation of the compressor main body and a delivery side of the compressor main body 20 is opened in the muffler chamber 10b.
