PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compressor reducing torque at the time of starting each compression mechanism and improving starting ability of the device. SOLUTION: The compressor comprises a first compression mechanism and a second compression mechanism drivable alternatively or together, a first discharge passage for introducing fluid compressed by the first compression mechanism to a discharge chamber and a second discharge passage for introducing fluid compressed by the second compression mechanism to the discharge chamber. The compressor is constructed so that a valve seat surfaces for a first discharge valve opening and closing a first discharge hole of the first discharge passage in the discharge chamber and for a second discharge valve opening and closing a second discharge hole of the second discharge passage are formed in an inclined surface inclining downward from an upper part of the compressor.
