PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a weld wire storage container capable of preventing intrusion of moisture content and moisture into a container and storing the weld wire even under severe environment for a long period of time, and an in-container weld wire. SOLUTION: The welding wire 10a is superposed, along a circle track directing from a lower part to an upper part while moving/displacing a central axis, on a bottom plate 4 of the container in which an inner cylinder 6 made of paper formed with a resin layer 9 by a humidity non-permeable resin a hardly humidity permeable resin is arranged coaxially to an outer cylinder 1 at the inside of the outer cylinder with a bottom made of paper formed with a resin layer 9 by a humidity non-permeable resin or a hardly humidity permeable resin on a paper substrate in an inner surface. Thereafter, a press plate 2 provided with a plurality of openings 2a for confirming a remained amount of welding wire coil 10 is placed on the welding wire coil 10. Then, a moisture proof sheet 8 is placed on the press plate 2 so as to cover at least the openings 2a to make the in-container welding wire. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
