PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packing machine capable of supplementing bands in a pool box 5 by assuming that a supply roller 9 slips with respect to a band 4. SOLUTION: The packing machine has a tip detection means 7 to detect that a tip of the band 4 through an arch guide 2 reaches a regular position. A control means 12 has a function to determine whether or not the tip of the band 4 reaches the tip detection means 7 based on the reaching signal received from the tip detection means 7 and the function to control the rotation of the supply roller 9 to supply the band 4 of the treatment amount to the pool box 5 when the reaching signal from the tip detection means 7 is not input.
