The mechanism to stabilize the running movement of a sliding drawer, in furniture, has a cogwheel (10) on both sides of it with both cogwheels keyed together. The cogwheels mesh with racks (5) on each side of the drawer, with a moving tooth (18) which tilts around a horizontal axis (23) at the trailing ends moved by the cogwheels.
