OPTICAL TRANSMISSION MODULE AND MOBILE INFORMATION APPARATUS EMPLOYING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of the impossibility of establishing a downsized and low profile foldable mobile information apparatus employing optical fibers as a high speed transmission means that is a powerful and leading means between the cases of the information apparatus because of a high optical loss caused in conventional optical fibers when they are folded.

SOLUTION: An optical transmission module is disclosed, wherein a plurality of mirrors 13a, 13b are arranged between a light emitting element 11 and a light receiving element 12, and the mirrors are optically coupled by an optical transmission line 14b turnably interconnecting at least the mirrors by using rotary joints 15a, 15b.
