<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-quality color filter which has high adhesion of an ITO layer formed on coloring layers. <P>SOLUTION: The color filter has a base material, a light shielding section which is formed on the base material, a photocatalyst-containing layer which is formed to cover the base material and the light shielding section and contains a photocatalyst and organopolysiloxane, at least two coloring layers which are formed on the photocatalyst-containing layer and the ITO layer which is formed to cover the coloring layers.
