<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To conveniently and effectively emit strobe light. <P>SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus includes: a body strobe light emitting part built in a body; a monitor stroboscope part 7 provided with a display part 17 for displaying an imaged image and a monitor strobe light emitting part 6b; and a hinge part 7a provided with a first shaft 7b and a second shaft 7c orthogonal to the first shaft 7b.
