<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tension reducer function to reduce or eliminate excessive oppressive feeling when attaching a webbing by a motor with a simple structure at low cost. <P>SOLUTION: One end of a power spring 22 in a webbing take-up device 10 is locked to a spring holding box 24, the spring holding box 24 is rotated in the forward/reverse direction by driving a motor 36 to change the set position of the power spring 22, and the take-up urging force by the power spring 22 is controlled(changed). Thus, excessive oppressive feeling when attaching the webbing can be reduced or eliminated. In addition, the motor need not be controlled based on the detected torque value (the webbing tension) applied to a take-up shaft or the detected webbing take-up quantity in a conventional webbing take-up device, and the webbing take-up device can be realized with a simple structure at low cost. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
