<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stable proximity switch mechanism free from erroneous operation of which, the range of characteristics of a usable magnetic sensitive switch is expanded by reducing the leakage of magnetic flux even if a magnetic body exists in the proximity to a magnet. <P>SOLUTION: The proximity switch mechanism is constructed of a reed switch 23 consisting of a thin and long glass tube (insulating container) 13 and a pair of reed pieces 15, and magnets 69a and 69b. The reed switch 23 is mounted on a printed-circuit board (mounting substrate) 21, and an external terminal 17 is connected by soldering to a conductor pattern formed on the printed-circuit board 21 and connected to a circuit which detects opening and closing state of a contact. The magnets 69a and 69b for driving the reed switch are arranged in close contact, for example, in the vicinity of a magnetic body 27 such as a frame of a liquid crystal panel, and the opposed face with the reed switch 23 is formed into a single face with two electrodes. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
