<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly functioned and highly value-added display device and mobile terminal. <P>SOLUTION: The display device has a 1st substrate, a 2nd substrate, a 1st polarizing plate, a 2nd polarizing plate, a 1st wavelength plate, and a 2nd wavelength plate. The 1st substrate and 2nd substrate are provided opposite to each other. Further, a plurality of pixels are provided on the surface opposite to one surface of the 1st substrate. Each of the plurality of pixels has a light emitting element which emits light toward the one surface of the 1st substrate and one surface of the 2nd surface. Further, a 1st display screen using light emitting elements is provided on the one surface of the 1st substrate and a 2nd display surface using light emitting elements is provided on the one surface of the 2nd substrate. Further, the 1st polarizing plate is provided on the one surface of the 1st substrate and the 2nd polarizing plate is provided on the one surface of the 2nd substrate.
