<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a polyester which is excellent in transparency, has a moderate and stable crystallization rate, is excellent in dimensional stability under heat, efficiently produces a molded product, particularly a heat-resistant hollow molded product, prevented from fluorescence emission when irradiated with ultraviolet rays, exhibits excellent long-hour continuous moldability hardly to cause mold stains, and gives a packaging materials excellent in flavor-retaining properties, and a polyester composition comprising the same. <P>SOLUTION: The polyester composition comprises a polyester A obtained mainly from a terephthalic acid component and a glycol component, and a polyester B obtained by melt-molding the polyester A under heat.
