PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device which is equipped with an external circuit connecting terminal to connect an external circuit connecting FPC cable with a width larger than a width dimension of a frame part on which a scanning line driving element is mounted or/and a frame part on which a signal line driving element is mounted, and which can be connected to the external circuit connecting FPC cable without enlarging the width dimension of the display panel. SOLUTION: At least one of two driving elements is constructed by forming an external circuit connecting terminal arrangement on an edge opposite to an edge on which driving output terminals are arranged.
