PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a floor post device with an automatic clearance adjusting mechanism having the function capable of automatically following clearance generated by lean wood. SOLUTION: An automatic adjusting mechanism of an elastic body force accumulating system, is arranged in the floor post device with a height adjusting mechanism by a rotary member. This automatic adjusting mechanism is composed of, for example, an elastic body for accumulating torque in the direction for heightening the height of a floor post to the rotary member, and a one-way clutch mechanism for accumulating force of the elastic body after arranging the floor post device.
