PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the manufacturing of a wire guide device 1 and the replacement work of the wire guide device in the wire guide device 1 used for a wire cut electric discharge machine, and to shorten the machining time accordingly. SOLUTION: The wire guide device 1 used for a wire cut electric discharge machine is composed of a guide part 4 for guiding a wire and a guide device body 2 for holding the guide part 4. The guide part 4 is constituted of pins 41, which are three or more columnar bodies, and composed by inserting the wire 106 to a gap 4a formed by being surrounded by the side wall face of each pin 41. The pin 41 is formed of the columnar body. Consequently, the guide part can be easily manufactured compared with a conventional spherical guide part. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
