PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To utilize a pentagonal system structural body for solving environment and energy problems and contributing to industry and society, that is, for manufacturing new materials such as a new nanocluster, a new nanoelement, a new nanowire and a new nanotube as new material designs of nanotechnology, for instance, by putting this structural body to industrial practical use. SOLUTION: This invention is a pentagonal system structural body having a pentagonal closest packing structure (regular 25-side body) as a basic structure. The structural body can be applied to crystallography. This invention is a method for assembling the new material having the pentagonal closest packing structure (regular 25-side body) as the basic structure. The structure is simple and closest packed.
