METHOD FOR ADJUSTING POSITION OF ROLLING ROLL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for adjusting the position of a rolling roll by which the rolling roll of a steel rolling device is posisioned simply and inexpensively. SOLUTION: (1) An upper rolling roll 11 is slid in the thrust direction by a sliding mechanism 13. (2) An oscillating arm 26 is arranged between the upper rolling roll 11 and a lower rolling roll 12. (3) The lower point part 30 of contact of the oscillating arm 26 is brought into contact with the end face 22 of a flange of the lower rolling roll 12. (4) The oscillating arm 26 is rotated around a pin 28 and the attitude of the oscillating arm 26 becomes vertical attitude.
