A laboratory test chamber has a chamber (13) for magnetic resonance examination of hazardous substances. The assembly has an array of magnets (19) generating a homogenous magnetic field within a chamber. In a first operating condition the magnetic chamber (2) is located within a gas-tight safety chamber (1).
