METHOD FOR DIAGNOSING FRACTURES OF MIDDLE AREA OF FACIAL CRANIUM

The method for diagnosing the fractures of the middle area of the facial cranium comprises the comparison of the state of the tissues in the affected side and its intact counterparts measuring the time taken by ultrasound wave to run the specified distance between the same points in the bones of the healthy side and affected one. The increase in running time in the affected side relative to that in the healthy one is indicative of the subperiostal fracture or the fracture with the dislocation.
