<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developer supply method and device in which the freedom of design is high by the use of a uniaxial eccentric screw pump and, in addition, the supply of carrier can be independently controlled, and to provide an image forming apparatus using the device. <P>SOLUTION: When a developing device 4 which develops an electrostatic latent image, formed on a photoreceptor 1, with two-component developer composed of toner and carrier is supplied with the developer, toner stored in a toner storage container 20 is supplied to the developing device 4 by the uniaxial eccentric screw pump 40, and also carrier stored in the carrier storage container 70 is supplied while mixed into the toner being conveyed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
