<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a signal separating device which allows a wideband signal and a narrow-band signal coexist in the same frequency band. <P>SOLUTION: The signal separator generates a replica of a received signal and separates multiple signals received from each other. It counts the number of sampling by a sampling means, outputs the remainder of a division, dividing the counted number of sampling by a sampling number per a prescribed time period, as the index signal of the received signal.
