PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology of efficiently collecting information of application nodes from an overlay network built up by the autonomous distributed networking system such as the P2P.

SOLUTION: An autonomous distributed network information collecting apparatus is provided in one housing with: an application operating section 123 for activating the autonomous distributed application such as the P2P and connecting with the overlay network as a client; and a network damp execution section 126 for damping and measuring a packet of a network layer with a connected communication opposite party and collecting node information such as an address of the communication opposite party and a port number, and adopts a configuration that the application dependent parts are minimized and designed as a module, and the application changes are countermeasured by replacing one module with another.
