PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable communication to be performed asynchronously while recognizing the presence of a receiver and an activity status. SOLUTION: When a sensor 11 detects a user, a control device 12 is designed to acquire a still image by controlling a camera 15, to send the image to a communication managing server 30, to acquire the still image photographed by the other member of a group which the user belongs to from the communication managing server 30, and to display the image on a large-size display 13. The user inputs a message after recognizing the activity status of the other user on the basis of the still image displayed on the large-size display 13. The inputted message is stored in the communication managing server 30. The control device 12 is designed to determine whether a newly arrived message addressed to the user exists or not in the communication managing server 30, to receive the newly arrived message, and to notify this to the user when the new message exists.
