VOLTAGE GENERATING CIRCUIT, DATA DRIVER, AND DISPLAY UNIT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a voltage generating circuit that selects a generated voltage from among a plurality of the generated voltages compatible with digital data to be able to output the generated voltage with its voltage drop restrained, and further to provide a data driver and a display unit. SOLUTION: The voltage generating circuit outputs the generated voltage compatible with the digital data of (a+b+c) bits from among the plurality of the generated voltages. The voltage generating circuit includes first selectors of each conductivity type and two second selectors of each conductivity type. Each of the first selectors comprises the conductivity type MOS transistors and outputs one of the generated voltages selected in compatibility with low-order (b+c) bits of the digital data on the basis of a higher-order a bit of the digital data. Each of the second selectors comprises the conductivity type MOS transistors and outputs one of the plurality of the generated voltages to the conductivity type first selectors on the basis of low-order (b+c) bits of the digital data.
