PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a silicate salt liquid chemical for soil stabilization which gives a cured product (homogel item) having improved strengths, exhibits good strengths of the cured product even when the gel time of the chemical is changed from 40 min to 1 hr and 40 min, has good preservation stability of a curing agent for obtaining the liquid chemical, and suppresses deterioration in strengths of the soil treated by grouting the liquid chemical into the ground for longer time than before. SOLUTION: The silicate salt liquid chemical for soil stabilization comprises a sodium silicate aqueous solution having an SiO<SB>2</SB>/Na<SB>2</SB>O ratio of at least 3.3 and at most 4.0 and, incorporated thereinto, the curing agent containing at least 5 pts. mass and at most 18 pts. mass of magnesium sulfate based on 100 pts. mass of the total of a bicarbonate salt and magnesium sulfate in an amount of at least 23 mass% and at most 29 mass% based on SiO<SB>2</SB>in the sodium silicate aqueous solution.
