PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a traveling method for a sliding door and its device for realizing easy and accurate opening and closing operation by the minimum operation force and avoiding collision and damage effectively to provide a highly durable sliding door mechanism. SOLUTION: A bendable bar 5 provided between a rail part body 3 and an engaging part body traveling on the rail part body 3 is provided for the engaging part body when an opening and closing door part body 10 travels and is operated by the rail part body 3 provided in an entrance top part to release traveling operation force acting on the opening and closing door part body 10 by an opening and closing operator as slip of the engaging part body for the bendable bar 5.
