The invention relates to medicine. The inventive method for controlling metabolism of an organism consists in exposing said organism to the action of a natural material which is embodied in the form of a natural crystalline material of a graphic picture or stereographs of a crystal lattice of natural materials exhibiting a property of inhibiting metabolic processes and/or activating said processes, wherein said action is carried out until the metabolic process is normalised. The inventive device for controlling metabolism of an organism is embodied in the form of two plates made of a natural crystalline material. Said plates are movably connected to each other, wherein one plate is made of a material exhibiting an inhibitory property and the second plate is made of a material exhibiting an activating property, each plate being provided with a movable screen made of a polycrystalline material or a strength-resistant polymer. The other inventive device for controlling metabolism of an organism is embodied in the form of the graphic picture of stereographs of a crystal lattice of natural materials which are applied to a base and exhibit a property of inhibiting metabolic processes and/or activating said processes.
