The proposed method for controlling power consumption by electronic facilities consists in reading data on the energy meter indications, processing the data by a computer system with a data base, and generating control signals for controlling power consumption by corresponding electronic facilities in various power supply modes, such as a mode of power supply on requests of consumers, a mode of continuous power supply according to a specified program, a mode of long-term power supply at rated consumed power, and a mode of short-term power supply at maximal consumed power. In the mode of short-term power supply, instantaneous consumed power is controlled. It is possible to combine the mode of continuous power supply according to a specified program with the mode of long-term power supply at rated consumed power. If consumed current does not exceed 60 A, it is possible to combine the mode of continuous power supply according to a specified program with the mode of short-term power supply at maximal consumed power.
