<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To alert staff when there are waiting customers so that the staff preferentially cleans up tables. <P>SOLUTION: A table condition detection means is provided at each table for detecting whether customers are at or have left the tables and whether the tables have been cleaned up. For the tables where any customers are detected, table condition information indicates that they are in use; for the tables that customers have left, table condition information indicates that they are being prepared; and for the tables that have been detected to be cleared up, table condition information indicates that they are empty. A waiting customer determination means is provided for determining the existence of the customer waiting for entering a restaurant.
