<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the sweet area of a tennis racket and improve carrying performance and damping property. <P>SOLUTION: In this tennis racket, a string protecting member 21 having stiffness and comprising a plurality of cylinder portions 22 to insert a string S and a strip portion 23 to connect the plurality of cylinder portions 22 is attached to at least a part of the peripheral side of a head portion 12 of a racket frame 11. A viscoelastic material 31 and a cover material 41 made of a fiber reinforced plastic (FRP) are interposed between the string protecting member 21 and the frame 11 by stacking the former to the frame side and the latter to the string protecting member side. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
