<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an alternative routing method capable of establishing an alternative route of low spatial correlation with an ordinary route in a wireless mesh network. <P>SOLUTION: The method for determining an alternative route having an end node pair identical to that of an ordinary route R0 on a wireless mesh network comprises a step for calculating a spatial correlation coefficient of each wireless link constituting the wireless mesh network and the ordinary route R0, and a step for determining a route having a small maximum value of link cost, i.e. the spatial correlation coefficient, as an alternative route. In the step for calculating the spatial correlation coefficient, spatial correlation coefficient ρ(i, j) with each second wireless link L(j) constituting the ordinary route R0 is determined for each first wireless link L(i) constituting the wireless mesh network and the maximum value of spatial correlation coefficient represents the spatial correlation coefficient ρ(i, R0) of each first wireless link L(i) and the ordinary route R0. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
