<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intercom apparatus with which a conversation can be smoothly made among a number of users without radio interference within a limited space. <P>SOLUTION: In an intercom apparatus comprised of a handset side unit 4 and a main body side unit 5 for supporting a conversation between persons each having a difficulty in hearing or a conversation between a person having a difficulty in hearing and a non-handicapped person, infrared rays R are used for transmission/reception between the handset side unit 4 and the main body side unit 5. The handset side unit 4 is comprised of a microphone 40, a light receiving sensor 41, an infrared demodulation section 42, an amplification section 43, an earphone 44, an infrared modulation section 45 and an infrared transmission section 46, and the main body side unit 5 is comprised of a light receiving sensor 50, a plurality of infrared demodulation sections 51, an infrared modulation section 52, and an infrared transmission section 53. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
