<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carrier device capable of safely stopping a traveling carriage traveling on a traveling path when any failure is caused in a power source system or a driving system. <P>SOLUTION: This carrier device is provided with: a carrier truck 1 traveling on a traveling path; a motor driving part 2 for controlling the carrier truck 1; a power source 70 for supplying a power to the motor driving part 2; and an exitation operating type contact brake 6 for stopping the traveling carrier truck 1. Also, the carrier device is provided with: a motor 3 for converting the kinetic energy of the carrier truck 1 into an electric energy to apply a braking force to the carrier truck 1 when any abnormality is generated in the power source 70 and/or the motor driving part 2; and a brake operating part 5 for supplying the electric energy to a contact brake 6 as a brake power to operate the contract brake 6 when any abnormality is generated in the power source 70 and/or the motor driving part 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
