PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inverted-F antenna the characteristic of which can be enhanced and which can more effectively be downsized. SOLUTION: In the inverted-F antenna 100 formed on a front side of a printed circuit board, a radiation conductor 10 comprises: two parts of first and second radiation conductors 11, 12; and a chip coil 16. The chip coil 16 is provided between the first and second radiation conductors 11 and 12. The first and second radiation conductors 11 and 12 are electrically connected by the chip coil 16. Thus, the inverted-F antenna can more effectively be downsized. Further, since a current component flowing inside the chip coil 16 in a three-dimensional way exists, a degree of sensitivity can be obtained as to polarized waves in every direction. Moreover, the resonance frequency of the inverted-F antenna 100 can easily be adjusted by having only to change the inductance of the chip coil 16. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
