PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a positioning mark which is unlikely to have defects to occur and can recognize itself, even if defects occur by some chance. SOLUTION: A positioning mark 46 is made of divided dots 46a. It becomes hard for resist 50 to be embedded in the positioning mark 46. Even if two dots 46a are embedded with the resist 50, horizontal line X and vertical line Y can be calculated from the remaining dots 46a, and the center C of the positioning mark 46 can be found accurately from the intersection of the lines.
