PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably connect a friction clutch of a differential mechanism disposed in the interior of a differential case by connecting force generated by an actuator disposed on the outside of the differential case. SOLUTION: The connecting force generated by the actuator A provided on the outside of the differential case 28 is transmitted to the friction clutch 52 of the differential mechanism D provided in the interior of the differential case 28 through hollow shafts 47, 48, 48 provided on the outer periphery of a half shaft 11 to move in the axial direction. The hollow shafts 47, 48, 49 will not transmit the driving force from an internal combustion engine to a driving wheel, so that the axial connecting force generated by the actuator A is transmitted to the friction clutch 52 without any decrease due to the frictional force generated by the driving force to stably connect the friction clutch 52.
