PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slag-reducing agent having suitable water-reducing property, allowing concrete to have excellent workability and to develop sufficient strength by ordinary centrifugal compaction, having high slag-reducing effect, and allowing concrete to develop early strength only by low-pressure steam curing. SOLUTION: The slag-reducing agent comprises a copolymer obtained by polymerizing 50 to 99 wt. % (1) specified vinyl monomer with 1 to 50 wt.% (2) specified unsaturated aliphatic dicarboxylic acid monomer or maleic anhydride and 0 to 30 wt.% (3) other copolymerizable monomers and a specified polyether compound having a cloud point of 20°C or lower as measured in a 1% aqueous solution.
