PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric power steering device enabling high output at an inexpensive cost by arranging two electric motors for steering assist at different areas, easily controlling drive of the electric motors according to a traveling state, and improving steering performance. SOLUTION: The electric power steering device steering assisting the rotation force of the motor for steering assist, comprises the two electric motors having different performance and arrange in the different areas in a steering system extending from a steering wheel to a turning wheel, and a controlling means for individually controlling the action of the two electric motors.
