FOCUSING DEVICE AND FOCUSING DEVICE OF CAMERA

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a focusing device which can perform exact focusing with a lens interchangeable type and a focusing device. SOLUTION: The subject image past a photographic lens 4 is bisected to two images and the spacing between the two images is measured. The amount of deviation from the spacing between the two images at the time of focusing is determined in a focus detector 5 and the amount of defocusing of the photographic lens 4 is determined. The correction values meeting the magnitude and direction of the amount of defocusing of the photographic lens 4 are memorized in a correction value memory section 3 within an interchangeable lens 1. The amount of defocusing which is the output of the focus detector 5 is corrected based on the correction value memorized in the correction value memory section 3 in the correction section 3 in a camera body 2.
