PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light-emitting device for a cellular phone for clarifying the existence of the light-emitting device by lighting a plurality of light-emitting elements, arranged in regions other than a function display portion in a unique luminescence mode. SOLUTION: A cellular phone is provided with a board (4) accommodated in a housing (1) for having a circuit pattern (8) connected to a control circuit (2), a plurality of light-emitting elements (5) connected to the circuit pattern (8) and arranged on the board (4), a lighting drive circuit (6) connected to the control circuit (2) for lighting the plurality of light-emitting elements (5) through the circuit pattern (8) of the board (4), when the control circuit (2) receives a call termination signal, and a light transmitting portion (7) associated with the plurality of light-emitting elements (5) and formed at positions separated from a function display portion (3) on the housing (1). The lighting drive circuit (6) stores a lighting sequence and lighting times for lighting the plurality of light-emitting elements (5) separately by a specific lighting pattern, and lights the plurality of light-emitting elements (5) using the lighting sequence and the lighting time, when the control circuit (2) receives the call termination signal.
