PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact optical deflector which performs a two-dimensional deflection scanning with a single element. SOLUTION: The optical deflector performs a deflection scanning with light emitted from a light source, and is composed of a supporting body, a vibration system, and a driving means which drives the vibration system.
